Concerta making me tired. As far as i can tell, it was approved by the fda just last year. It�s not an oros pill and the authorized generic/clone is no longer in production. Isnt it supposed to be a stimulant? Some people feel tired while taking concerta.
So if you’re sleep deprived, chances are your body is going to make you well aware of this, and although. After 2 months of concerta, and not feeling any more focused, i have switched to vyvanse and am starting at 30mg. This is my main issue with concerta, the inconsistency of executive function it gives me.
I do find that some days i feel the effects more than others. Simply because i was unable to eat until it wore off. One strategy may be to keep the dose of methylphenidate higher during the day and lower in the evening.
Also i cannot take any generic except patriot brand for concerta. Concerta releases methylphenidate into the bloodstream for around 12 hours. Why does methylphenidate make me tired?
Some days i can start and finish any chore or school assignment thrown at me while on concerta, other days it feels like my executive function is almost worse than non medicated. Did you build up to 36mg? This causes effects opposite to the stimulant nature of the drug, such as irritability and fatigue.
I like the feeling of calm and my ability to focus on things has improved, but i�m a little perplexed by the sleepiness. I have anxiety and panic disorder as well, so i guess i’m pretty complex to medicate. The symptoms vary from person to person, but a crash could also make you feel irritable, hyperactive, or tired.

Not eating can make you tired, very tired. You may just be drowsy because you’re not getting proper sleep. Concerta just makes me spacey and makes me look strung out.

I get extremely tired from adderall, adzenys, vyvanse, ritalin and concerta. Within the first hour or so, individuals may actually feel sleepy then it kicks in. Actually these stimulant drugs have an opposite affect with someone with adhd.it calms you down instead of bringing you up.
After taking concerta er for some time, it makes me tired, which doesn�t make sense to those w/ adda. You may need to do some fiddling to get it right!!
